Sogedim, leading freight forwarder and integrated transport and logistics services provider by land, sea and air worldwide, took over the DB Schenker Italian food transport business unit by road of temperature controlled and frozen products, giving additional strength to the network. The acquisition, which is official from 1st June 2023, strategically expands the Sogedim Group Food & Beverage area thanks to a further consolidation of the partner network, while the team remains compact in serving customers without any change to the quality of the service offered. The logistic terminal of Guanzate, in the province of Como, becomes an ulterior garrison of Sogedim in Lombardy and complements to the historical hubs in the province of Milan, maintaining all the points of reference until now active in this branch of company.
