Cold-weather e-trucking

DB Schenker’s electric trucks have demonstrated their reliability in Finland’s extreme winter conditions, as the company has reported.

 

Over the past year two ‘Fuso eCanter’ trucks carried out customer deliveries, proving effective even in temperatures as low as –30°C, particularly in Lapland near the Arctic Circle.

 

According to Tristan Keusgen, the head of European fleet management at DB Schenker, the deployment highlights the feasibility of alternative drive systems in harsh environments. Read more
