Kalmar cranes to cut emissions at Tanger Med

Kalmar has secured an order to supply 20 hybrid straddle carriers to APM Terminals Medport Tangier in Morocco, with deliveries scheduled for Q2 and Q3/2025. The transaction will complement Tanger Med 2’s existing fleet of 65 Kalmar straddle carriers, supporting its role as a key transshipment hub for major global shipping routes.

As with previous orders, the new units will be re-configured and tested before being integrated into the terminal’s operations using Kalmar One software, with Kalmar providing professional services, maintenance, and support.Read more
