E-truck brings organic vegetables

Gebrüder Meier in Buchs, Zurich, Switzerland, has received several awards for its commitment to the environment. Now the family business, which specialises in the cultivation of organic vegetables, has taken a further step towards sustainability with the purchase of a fully electric truck, a Renault Trucks e-tech P4x2 from the T series.

The 38 t truck has three electric motors, 660 hp and a range of around 340 km. It will use charging points connected to the company's own photovoltaic system. Read more
