First e-truck in the fleet

The Swiss haulage company Thurtrans has put its first fully electric tractor unit into operation. The E-Tech T T4x2 from Renault Trucks is equipped with three 660 hp motors and six 90 kWh battery packs for a range of 340 km.

Before Thurtrans decided to purchase this vehicle, the Thurgau-based transport company, which specialises in refrigerated transport, was able to try out two fully electric Renault trucks on loan from its parent company Schöni. Read more
