Quantron launches subsidiary in Italy

Germany-based Quantron, a manufacturer of electric and H2 trucks, is expanding its international business and acquiring 100% of Eyes Group from Friem, an expert in energy conversion.

Eyes Group, which specialises in vehicle electrification, will operate under the name of Quantron Italy with immediate effect. Fabrizio Simoni, former CEO of Eyes, has been appointed managing director. Headquartered in Milan, Quantron's new Italian subsidiary will initially manufacture zero-emission vehicles for the last mile. Read more
