Dover: Operation Brock deployed as traffic increases ahead of summer

Operation Brock has been fully deployed and all freight traffic heading to Eurotunnel or the Port of Dover must follow signs to join it at M20, junction eight.

 

The move means any EU-bound HGVs not complying with signage and trying to use another route to Eurotunnel or the Port of Dover risk a fine of £300.

 

The vehicles will also be sent to the back of the queue by Police or enforcement agents. This includes those trying to bypass the M20 by using the M2/A2 at Brenley Corner where there are enforcement officers monitoring the situation. Read more
