Oxygen train helps combat Covid-19

Indian Railway is running “Oxygen Express” trains to support the fight against Covid-19. Oxygen Expresses with Liquid Medical Oxygen (LMO) tankers have already arrived at Nashik & at Lucknow for the states of Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh, respectively.

A few containers were also unloaded at Nagpur and Varanasi en route to supply LMO in these regions.

A third Oxygen Express started its journey from Lucknow on Saturday morning, 25 April 2021, the Indian government said. Read more
