According to Logistics UK.
Disruption to supply chains caused by issues such as post-Brexit changes to international goods movement, uncertainty regarding industry’s decarbonisation journey, emerging technology and skills shortages means logistics businesses have operated in a constant state of flux in recent years. But the sector’s critical importance to the success of businesses in the UK means that its operations must be constantly adapted to ensure that companies are prepared for such events.
Logistics UK’s fourth annual one-day Supply Chain Resilience conference is a must-attend event for supply chain professionals of all levels to equip them with best practice, case studies and knowledge to enable them to plan for disruption and manage logistics networks successfully.
To be held at the America Square Conference Centre, London on Wednesday 19 March, Supply Chain Resilience 2025 will provide the opportunity to hear from high-profile speakers including Alan McKinnon of Kühne Logistics University, who will deliver the keynote address, and Laura Marquis, Director for Multimodal Freight at the Department for Transport, who will be participating in a panel session discussing government programmes to support improving resilience of UK supply chains. The day’s programme will also include presentations and debate featuring leading organisations such as the UK Space Agency, Stobart, Amey, Wincanton, MAKE UK, Customs Support Group and John Lewis Partnership.
