The new branch of the logistics operator DACHSER & FERCAM Italia in Arezzo represents a strategic step to expand the logistics network in Tuscany and continues the gradual intensification of its territorial presence. This move supports the internationalization of local economies, which have a strong industrial and commercial tradition.
An investment to ensure efficiency and proximity to Clients
With an operational area of 3,000 m², 23 loading docks, and 400 m² dedicated to offices, the new branch ensures rapid and efficient logistics processes and direct connections to the hubs in Milan, Bologna, and Verona, as well as to all the company's European platforms. Many local manufacturing companies rely on these connections for their commercial outlets not only in the domestic market but also in various European countries. They require daily links to and from the major national and European economic centers. «This new opening allows us to further strengthen our distribution and groupage services, ensuring clients have more direct access to the main economic markets in Italy and Europe», says Claudio Andreassi, Regional Manager of DACHSER & FERCAM Italia.
The branch has been designed to meet the needs of local businesses, particularly in the manufacturing sector, with a focus on maximum security for the goods, guaranteed by an extensive video surveillance system. «The goal is to offer tailored logistics solutions that enable local businesses to compete more effectively on a national and international scale», adds Giovanni Cigolini, Branch Manager of the Arezzo branch.
Production investments for new employment opportunities
The investment in the Arezzo branch goes beyond strengthening the logistics network; it also provides a boost to the local economy by creating new job opportunities for direct employees, indirect collaborators, as well as drivers and third-party carriers under exclusive contracts. «We believe in the value of people: they are the ones who turn every service into an experience of excellence», emphasizes Cigolini.
The Arezzo branch has been operational since November 2024.
