New tech partnership to drive eco-initiatives

United European Car Carriers (UECC) has partnered with Daphne Technology to install Pure Metrics, an advanced emissions monitoring system, on its 2022-built vehicle carrier, “Auto Aspire”.

Set to be operational in early 2025, the system will provide real-time emissions data for the carrier’s three-engine configuration, supporting UECC in surpassing EU monitoring, reporting and verification (MRV) standards.

Pure Metrics will help UECC establish precise emissions baselines and aid in data-driven decision-making for optimising vessel performance and reducing emissions to meet sustainability goals.  Read more
