Hyundai Motor Company showcased its commitment to a Hydrogen Society at the Advanced Clean Transportation Expo 2024 and launched its US clean logistics business.
The company's Class 8 XCIENT Fuel Cell electric truck was emphasised as the future of sustainable transportation. Ken Ramirez, executive vice president, highlighted Hyundai Motor Group's capabilities in hydrogen production, storage, logistics, and applications.
Jim Park, senior vice president, detailed the rollout of the Class 8 XCIENT Fuel Cell electric trucks in key US hydrogen logistics projects. The NorCAL ZERO Project saw the largest commercial deployment of the trucks in North America, and the Clean Logistics Project in Georgia aims to decarbonise Hyundai's production facility at the Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America. Hyundai aims to leverage its strengths in both mobility and energy sectors to realise its vision for a Hydrogen Society via the HTWO brand. Read more
