Geodis’ customer Nexter will benefit from this move.
Geodis has teamed up with Dematic, a logistics technology provider, to install new automation solutions: The new autostore system at the Geodis hub in Moulins involves 12,500 containers, four R5 robots and two conveyor ports that will be used to boost efficiency and growth.
Geodis’ customer Nexter, a European manufacturer of military land systems and part of the KNDS Group, will benefit from this move. With the upgrade, Nexter can deploy the 22,000 sqm site for maintenance and its service offerings. Around 32,000 items can be stored in the facility. Read more
