The clean truck express gate-in lane saved an average 18 minutes in-gate cue
APM Terminals Los Angeles, Pier 400, is adding a second unique “clean truck express” lane. This comes as a regular customer at the terminal recently announced that it will increase add 50 heavy duty electric trucks to its fleet in Southern California (ITJ Daily, 13.5.2024).
Last month, the clean truck express gate-in lane saved an average 18 minutes in-gate cue, and users see an average truck turn time of 30 minutes or less. Unsurprisingly, the priority lane has therefore proved popular, with over 1,200 trucks making use of the facility in April alone – a 57% increase compared to March. Read more
