Intralogistics solutions provider DistriSort has integrated a Cross Tray Sorter from Eurosort to automate sortation processes for Logistar, the third-party logistics provider (3PL) of SportVision in Serbia.
The automated sortation system has two induction areas and is equipped with internal conveyors, a Value Added Services (VAS) area and end-of-line sorting conveyors.
DistriSort provided a turnkey solution, with the sorter reportedly capable of managing multiple logistic flows within a single system. This includes inbound goods, outbound good and returns sorting, DistriSort has said.
The company added that the total sorter capacity is 7,500 items per hour, with its more than 100 chutes allowing Logistar to fulfil orders to more than 250 shops in Eastern Europe. Read more
