Toll Collect is currently preparing the technology and processes for the extension of truck tolls in Germany. In future, a CO2 surcharge will be levied on the HGV toll and the mandatory toll limit will be lowered from 7.5 to 3.5 t.
Some adjustments are already visible: For example, the CO2 emission class will be mentioned as a new tariff characteristic in the itemised bill for the toll and provisionally shown with the number "0".
The additional column for the CO2 emission class may make it necessary to adapt processing programmes. Read more
