Geodis has opened a new site for e-logistics in in Coventry, UK. The 7,000 sqm site is located in a strategic area with good links to transport networks allowing quick distribution of the products. The facility has the capacity to store more than 500,000 SKUs and to process up to 5,000 orders per day.
Geodis now operates a total of six e-logistics platforms, located in USA, France and UK, with space also available in Germany, the Netherlands and Italy. A total of 40,000 sqm of warehousing is reserved for e-logistics.
Geodis e-logistics was launched in 2020. It offers a complete logistics solution for order preparation and personalisation, inventory optimisation, transport organisation and returns management. Read more
