IRU partners with Asian Development Bank on transport digitalisation

IRU called on countries in the region to leverage TIR digital tools.

RU is working with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to facilitate trade with greater digitalisation along the Shymkent-Tashkent-Khudjand trade corridor, which connects Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.

This week, IRU participated in a virtual workshop organised by ADB, with the support of the Tajik government, to share insights on how eTIR could be leveraged to drive transparent, secure and legal trade along the corridor.

IRU called on countries in the region to leverage TIR digital tools to further facilitate border crossing by establishing TIR Green Lanes along the corridor. Read more
