Transportonline, The Logistics Community. - 20th Anniversary (1996-2016).
We are celebrating the 20th Anniversary with a new Homepage, which is optimized for the research of the registered companies and for the consultation of our press review.
As publishers of Tuveri Guide since 1926, we were introduced to Internet at SMAU 1995 and we created the first version of Transportonline, which was presented at Transpotec in February 1996.
We were pioneers. Seeing the potential of the web, we wanted to offer online visibility to our customers creating an international portal.
At the printed edition of Tuveri Guide we added a very powerful communication tool which changed our publishing activities.
Transportonline is not just a catalog of companies but also a channel of daily information, advertisement etc..
The traditional publishing was transformed. The Encyclopædia Britannica, many dictionaries, many international telephone guides are now edited only online and even newspapers are facing the technological transformation.
After 20 years of a parallel publication with the Guide, the publisher is celebrating the 20th Anniversary of Transportonline taking act that new technologies have fully replaced printed materials and that the Tuveri Guide (after 90 years) will retire, ceasing publication with the 2015/2016 edition and passing the baton of Transportonline.
Transport forwarding and logistics companies and all suppliers, as well as all industries having a stake in transporting goods can register for free to propose their company, find new partners and get new business opportunities.
Transportonline has an advanced " search engine " which allows you to find new customers, partners and suppliers, contributing to the development of the business of the registered companies, also with the daily information.
20 years of technological evolutions, continuous system changes, updates charts with a single objective: to spread qualified information to enable 12,000 companies registered to have new commercial contacts and new business opportunities.
