Noatum Maritime’s first LNG-powered ro-ro vessel

Noatum Maritime, part of the AD Ports Group, has taken delivery of its first LNG-powered pure car and truck carrier (PCTC), the ‘UGR Al Samha’.

 

The newbuilding will operate under the recently launched joint venture with Erkport, United Global Ro-Ro. The vessel offers capacity for over 7,000 car equivalent units (ceu) on twelve decks totalling 59,331 m². Its LNG propulsion is designed to cut emissions, improve operational efficiency and support the UAE’s 2050 net-zero targets. Read more
