Rail transports Swiss steel to Italy

DB Cargo Switzerland has launched a new service. The rail enterprise recently started transporting steel from Steeltec in Emmenbrücke, Lucerne (Switzerland), to northern Italy. The logistics project was developed in cooperation with DB Cargo’s full-load solutions unit (FLS) and DB Cargo Italia.

The steel products manufactured in Emmenbrücke are transported by rail to Chiasso (Switzerland) and then to Lecco (Italy), from where they are distributed to customers. Read more
