Mercedez-Benz starts customer trials of electric truck

Mercedes-Benz Trucks is to launch its all-electric heavy-duty truck in a small series.

The company is in discussion with 20 potential customers who will trial the 25 tonne Urban eTruck, which has a range of 200km.

The first vehicles are to be delivered to customers this year. The truck business hopes the series generation will be on the market by 2020. Read more
