New rail connection between Italy and Germany

On 25 January 2017, Ekol Logistics introduced a new blocktrain service between Trieste (Italy) and Kiel (Germany). In addition to this new link, the company is to offer a sea connection between Kiel and Gothenburg (Sweden).

This solution will be the first rail link from the port of Trieste to the Baltic-Adriatic Corridor. The train left Trieste at 11.00 yesterday and is expected to arrive in Kiel at 16.00 today. The departure from Kiel is scheduled for 13.00 on 29 January, arrival time in Trieste is 17.00 on 30 January. Read more
