Erfa: 4th railway package - a missed opportunity

The European Rail Freight Association (Erfa), representing new entrants in the rail market, regrets that the adoption of the political pillar of the 4th railway package postpones the much-needed reforms of the rail sector.

 

Although the package’s technical pillar is an important step forward, the political pillar has been dominated by monopoly player egoisms, reinforcing the state-run rail companies’ position, said the organization. Read more
