China-UK train passes through Kazakhstan

The first China – UK container train hauling 44 boxes stuffed with consumer goods has passed through Dostyk station in Kazakhstan has implemented. Kazakhstan Railways (KTZ) says the route is attractive because of the quality of logistics services provided at that station.

 

Last year, around 1,100 container trains ran through Dostyk station. The first train to travel from China to the UK will take 18 days to cover a distance of 12,000 km, and will pass through Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, Poland, Germany, Belgium, and France. Read more
